Mary K. Fahey

Mary Kathleen Fahey, 75, of Dubuque, IA, passed away April 21, 2025, at home.

No formal services will be held, a private family service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque. Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.

Mary was born on December 29, 1949, in Dubuque, IA, to Charles and Marion (Wiedner) Fahey. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Clarke College. She worked for Brown Publishing and Fahey & Toohey both in Dubuque. She especially enjoyed visiting Ireland and researching her ancestry. 

Mary is survived by her sister Nora Kafer; brother Tim Fahey; nephew Dan (Allyson Ochs) Kafer.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Roger Kafer.
