Patricia K. "Patty" O'Toole

Patricia K. “Patty” O’Toole, 57, of Dubuque, IA passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at home. An extended service will be held on a later date. Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd. Dubuque is assisting the family.

Patty was born on October 9, 1963 in Dubuque, the daughter of Donald and Beverly (Brown) Steil. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School.

Patty loved being around the people she loved. She loved gardening and had a new found love for painting. She was very fun to be with and very easy to love. She loved traveling to Des Moines to stay with her brother and going to the campground. Patty always enjoyed driving around on the golf cart to visit with people. She made friends everywhere she went and will be sadly missed.

Patty is survived by her son Kyle Schetgen; her brother, Dan (Kimberly) Steil and their son Dylan; her sister’s, Judy (Jeff) Faulhaber and their kids, Colin, Jesse and Lanie; Kathy (John Tharp) Steil and her son Josh; and a brother-in-law, Bill Burdt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Beverly Steil, her maternal and paternal grandparents; and her sister Teri Burdt.
