Patrick J. Devine

Patrick J. Devine, 78, of Dubuque, passed away on November 8, 2025, at Jackson Ridge Care Center in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home starting at 2:00 p.m. with Msgr. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery, Fillmore, IA.

Patrick was born on February 27, 1947, in Fillmore, Iowa, the son of LeRoy and Marie (Breitbach) Devine. He graduated from Aquin High School in Cascade. He lived his entire life in Dubuque and worked for 30 years at the Dubuque Packing Co. Patrick enjoyed stock car races, county fairs and tractor pulls.

He is survived by his brother, Jim (Alyce) Devine of Cascade, IA, along with nieces and nephews.

Patrick is preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, George, Robert, Edward, Tom and Joseph Devine.
