Richard D. Snyder

Richard D. “Moke” Snyder, 78, of Dubuque, passed away on September 12, 2021. 

A Celebration of Life service will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4th, 2021, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road with Msgr. James Miller officiating. Family and friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home until time of service. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.  

Born and raised in Dubuque, IA, he was the son of his beloved late parents, David and Mary Jane Snyder. Also preceded in death were his amazing brothers, David Snyder, Thomas Snyder, Michael Snyder, and sister, Judith Delgado (Snyder). Richard, or Uncle

Dick is survived by his cherished nieces and nephews Vickie King, Bobbie Brough, KayAnn DeBuhr, David Delgado, Toni Hatten, and Vivian Fluhr, and many great-nieces and nephews.

Moke, as he was known by his lifelong friends, was an avid bowler, card player, and lover of life. Our uncle will be greatly missed but we find peace knowing that he reunited with his parents and siblings in God’s home.
