Sharon Rose Johnsrude

Sharon Rose Johnsrude, 66, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 7th ,2021.

According to her wishes no public services will be held. 

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 27, 1955 the daughter of Clifford Johnsrude and Leona Heim. She was a graduate from West De Pere High School class of 1973.

She married at the age of 19 to Jeffrey M. DeRuyter on August 2nd , 1975 and had four beautiful children Starr L. DeRuyter (daughter), Todd DeRuyter (son), Mark DeRuyter (son) and Chad DeRuyter (son) all Surviving. They later divorced after 26 years together and Sharon has been single ever since 2001.

Sharon worked at Walmart in Dubuque, IA for about five years then transferred to the Platteville Walmart and continued working there for 17 years, retiring in 2017.  In her spare time she enjoyed baking ,crafting, sewing, traveling, watching Law & Order, and many more.

She is also survived by one granddaughter Avery DeRuyter and her daughter-in-law Jessica Kartman DeRuyter along with many extended family members.

She touched so many hearts and definitely will be missed dearly. We love you Mom may you Rest In Peace fly high with the angels.
