Shirley Leno Sigman

Shirley Leno Sigman, 83, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2018 at home.

According to her wishes private burial will be held at Linwood Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.

She was born on May 30th, 1935 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph R. and Gladyce (Lingle) Leno. She was raised and went to school in Cameron, Wisconsin. She married James Sigman in 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death in October of 2009.

She was a past member of the Junior Board of the Visiting Nurses Association, Finley Sunshine Circle, Mt. Pleasant Home, Dubuque Golf and Country Club and PEO Chapter IK.

She is survived by her two sons, Brian (Krista) Sigman and Randall (Kathy) Sigman, of Dubuque. Four grandchildren, Amira (Makhtar Qaed) Ahmadi, of Denver, CO, Kalie Sigman, of Dubuque, Brittany McNab, of Minneapolis and Josh (Shelby) McNab, of Dubuque and along with 2 great grandchildren. His brother-in-law William Sigman, of Fishers, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her son Mark a brother James Leno and a sister Donna Immerfall.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque, Boys and Girls Club of Dubuque, Dubuque Humane Society, or a charity of your choice.
