William R. Plowman Jr.

William Richard Plowman Jr., 54, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away peacefully on August 24th, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family after being cared for by his wife.

Friends and family may visit from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday August 28th, 2023, at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory. A Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Jack Redmond officiating. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post #6.

Bill was born on July 11th, 1969, in Iowa City, Iowa, son of William Plowman Sr. and Yvonne Allen. He married the love of his life, Latricia Miller, on August 11th, 2001, in Oklahoma City. He honorably served and worked as a Jet Engine Mechanic for the United States Air Force for 22 years. Bill loved NASCAR, dirt tracks, and just about anything racing. He loved working on his classic Cameros and traveling.

Bill is survived by his wife Trish, children Chance and Chelsie Plowman, mom Yvonne “Bonnie” (Steve) Collins, sisters Stacy (Steve) Stackis and Melissa (Jason) Martin, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad William Plowman Sr., and brother Brandon Plowman.
