I somehow missed this last year, and am so very sorry. Now to add to that another Ed is gone. To the entire family, you have my heartfelt sympathies. My Dad and Anne were 1st cousins, and I was lucky enough to have dinner with her a couple of years ago, when I was back in DBQ. d.

Sorry this is so late, but have been in Spain and just arrived back yesterday. What a wonderful lady. She was fun and such a a gentle loving soul. I enjoyed our many years together at Kennedy School as well as in community at St. Anthony. I'm sure your celebration of her life spoke of how gifted we all were to have known her. Susie and Tom, Jane and Dave

So sorry to hear about Anne. She was a great lady and a great friend. She made me feel at home from the first time I visited with Susie and Tom. So glad I got to visit with her last year at Jane's birthday party. My sympathies to all of the family. She will truly be missed.

Diane, Mike and family,
We want to express our condolences to you. When our sons Jeremy and Derek cut her lawn they would always come home and tell us about their visit with Anne. "Always the teacher!" We enjoyed getting to know her and know that she will be sadly missed. Please give our condolences to sister Jane Boffeli also. Frank and Carol Duehr

I had Mrs Lammer as a 4th grader at Kennedy School. She was one of my favorite teachers - so kind and very passionate. One of my favorite memories of her was when she was demonstrating something on the overhead (back in the day when we had overhead projectors with the clear plastic sheets that would display on a screen), and she had the marker in her hand and instead of pointing at it on the overhead itself, she pointed to whatever it was on the screen, and she accidentally marked the screen with the marker! We all, including her, were horrified - I think there was a collective gasp in the classroom, but looking back on it now it makes me laugh and I also wonder if that marker line is still there!!

I always point out her classroom every time I'm in Kennedy School (my boys both go there now) and I've thought about what she was up to quite often whenever I'm there.

I'm so sorry for your loss. She was obviously an amazing woman and made a great impression on me all those years ago. Please find peace in your time of sorrow.
