Audrey M. Lindenberg, 84, of Dubuque passed away peacefully on June 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at Heritage Manor.
A celebration of her life for family and friends will be at 1:00 p.m. August 22, 2015 at Dubuque Community Church, 3490 Key Stone Drive.
Audrey was born December 22, 1931, in Dubuque, Iowa. The daughter of Wilkin and Constance Mauer. She attended and graduated from Senior High School in Dubuque. On March 9, 1951 she married Andrew E Lindenberg.
Audrey loved children, gardening, flowers, crafting, birds, music, crossword puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. Nothing made her happier than cooking for a family gathering.
Surviving is her brother, Noel (Bonnie) Mauer, her children, Connie Herrig, Rich Lindenberg, Gary Lindenberg, John Lindenberg, her grandchildren, Ryan Herrig, Kristin (Yon)Tekola, Justin(Rachel) Lindenberg, Nick (Julie) Lindenberg, Mike (Chelsea) Lindenberg, Erin Liindenberg (fiancé Ryan LaRue), great grandchildren, Emma, Chase, Jaden, Logan & Charlotte.
Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Andy, her parents, and her brother Russell Mauer.
In lieu of flowers, an Audrey Lindenberg Memorial Fund has been established.
