Daniel John "Biff" Murphy, 59 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on Monday February 9th, 2015 at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30a.m Saturday February 14th at the Church of the Resurrection with Rev. Joseph Hauer officiating. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass at the church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.
He was born on August 26, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of John and Jeanette (Cherrier) Murphy. He graduated from Hempstead High School in 1973. He worked for the former Dubuque Packing Company, John Deere, Caradco, and was currently working for Eagle Window and Door. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with mans best friend his dog Missy.
He is survived by his mother Jeanette, sisters Colleen Motsch and Cathy (Tom) Milligan, a niece Sheila Motsch, two nephews Matt and Mitch Milligan.
He was preceded in death by his father John and sister Susan.
