" Fred knew more about geography and traveling the States than anyone else I knew. He and his wife always made a point to visit me when I was in College. When I moved to Colorado and married they traveled to see us many times. His knowledge of the side roads and places to see was better then any GPS. He also loved to dance!" Gail (brother-in-law)
" Once we were visiting Iowa and stayed after dark at Dee and Terry's place. To get back to Dubuque he directed us to drive on a bunch of dirt back roads. We even had to get out of the car and move a tree off the road but he knew the roads or we would still be lost. " Christine (sister-in law)

I will always have fond memories of Fred.. I would often talk with him at family functions and could listen to him talk for hours.. I hope it comforts the families to know that he has gone to a far better place and he is surrounded by loved ones.
