I just recently reconnected with Jane and am so happy for this! We were reminiscing on our earlier days as well as her trip to Ms/Al to support and visit Pax Christi while I was working there, a poverty area in the South. Her last communication with me was so inspiring which I will always carry in my heart. Amidst our sadness of losing her physical presence, in that thin veil between this world and next I know her love will always be with me and especially with you as her family. I send my blessings to you in this time of loss and healing.

So sorry for your loss. I did not know Jane well but I know good friends of hers who often spoke of her with high regard. When someone has such good friends says a lot for her. Jane touched many lives and will be missed. May the good memories lessen your sorrow

I am saddened to hear this news. She is at peace now and watching over us once again, as she did as a teacher. Prayers and thoughts go out to the whole family. She was one of my favorite teachers at Fulton, and I remember St. Patricks Day very vividly to this day.

My sympathy to you, Dave and your family. I met Jane at the Academy of the Visitation. What a wonderful breath of fresh air she was....I have so many memories of her ....riding in her old car, she visiting with my folks on our front porch, just acting crazy with her and going to her parents farm for a slumber party. I have snapshots of her when she joined the Franciscans and, more importantly, all her letters that she wrote me when I was in nursing school and the ones she sneaked out of the convent while in her early years of the convent. The last time I saw her was when she came to my house in Rock Island, maybe in the middle 1990's, for" a slumber party". At that time, she told us how she met you Dave and fell head over heels in love with you. Rest in peace, dear friend. Sally Thompson

Dave
Gary and I would have the deepest sympathy to you and your family. Jane was one of a kind person and everybody loved her. She knew how to light up a room when she walked in. Saint Patrick's Day and the 4th of July will never be the same without her.
We're out of town and so sorry that we will be unable to make any of the services .
But we will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so very sad to say goodbye to one of my very best friends ever! She loved me and accepted me just the way I was. She loved life and lived her life to the fullest every day she was alive. I feel so blessed to have her as my close friend. She loved the mountains here in Colorado so I got to see her often. I will miss her terribly. I loved and Dave who cared for her so well in her courageous battle with cancer. Janice
