Dear Mary Jo, Greg and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear about your mom, Mary Jo. May you and your family take comfort in God’s gift of memories and His even greater promise of eternal life. Jeanette must have been a wonderful mom to raise such a caring and thoughtful daughter. It seems that the legacy she leaves behind is one of greatness: this big beautiful family. We are so sorry to hear God called our good neighbor Jeanette. I am at Perry's in Cedar Rapids. Perry had a stroke May 2013. We plan on coming to the wake but if it is not a good day we want you to know we are thinking of all of you. Perry's left side did not come back for him. He is in a wheel chair. He remembers the bus picking up at your place after our place.

Jack and the Cannon clan,

We are saddened to hear that Jeanette passed away. She was a loving and generous person who always put others ahead of herself. I have the best memories of spending a week in the summer at the farm. Your mom played board games with us, baked homemade cookies and worked harder than ever. I laugh out loud remembering her scolding Mark and Pat for enjoying too many of her delicious cookies. We are praying that you'll find comfort in your memories of her and in the knowledge that others are missing her, too.
