Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family.
I have many fond memories of Joe talking about the Saint Louis Cardinals, playing euchre, and talking about planting a garden. His gentle manner and easy smile are what I remember the most. He was a very kind, patient, and giving man. He will be missed!

Our sincere sympathy to the family of Joe Knockel. My plans were all made to have my daughter drive out to Joe's funeral but I came down with a severe case of the flu yesterday. I am recovering but don't feel up to traveling yet. Hopefully, we will be able to visit sometime in the future there. We will surely miss his Christmas cards and letters and also the visits we had with him the last few years. I'm sure his life was a great example for his nieces and nephews and friends.
