I found myself thinking of you today. A few years back I had tried to contact you again and didn’t hear back. I even emailed you something like “are you still alive?” and I don’t know why but when I didn’t hear back I decided to google your name with obituary and there your bright shining smiling face was. I don’t know how you died but I wish I could have saved you somehow. You didn’t deserve to go so early. You had lots of work to do on this earth and many people who cared so much about you. I tried to be in touch with a friend of yours who we played music with in Baltimore but she didn’t know what had happened to you either… I just had to write to you here today because I really feel your spirit is with me. I saw you once in a dream… I know you’re around watching over your loved ones. You were always such an inspiration to me! Your music and art was so special. It means so much that you truly believed in me and invited me to come play with you, so grateful for those memories. The last time I saw you was in 2010 I believe when you came to Brooklyn, and a few years later I met a friend of yours from Baltimore and it occurred to me at that time from what he said that it’s possible not that many people were there for you, so I tried to get in touch again and I wasn’t hearing from you and I should have tried harder. I really wish we had kept in contact. I really feel there was a deep soul understanding between us and we shared the same values and spirit. Just know that I won’t forget you and I’ll always talk to you from beyond and you’ll always have a friend in me no matter what. I love you so much angel, see you in heaven someday.
