I went to UNI with Conz. We lived on the same dorm floor and shared many wonderful memories together. I admired Conz and thought I should reconnect when I found his obituary. What a loss but you were so fortunate to share the past years with this wonderful man. I am saddened but feel blessed by knowing he was a part of my life. I have such warm memories of going to grade school with Kevin. He was always so kind and funny! I send my sympathy to all of his family. He was a gentle and sweet person!

My deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Conlon family. I grew up Mark and I moved from Dubuque several years ago, but would often see Kevin "Conz" in passing when I returned. His smile was always contagious and genuine and he will be missed by many.

I was in shock to here the news. Kathy, my heart goes out to you and your kids, and to all my cousins/Kevin's siblings........ I pray for God to heal your hearts and that the wonderful memories will stay with you forever. Kevin was always gave a good ear and showed genuine interest in conversation, even when it was years since we have talked. I am sorry we could not be there to celebrate his life. God Bless you all. My condolences to you. Kevin was a wonderful man. While interning with the city's Finance dept., I got to work closely with him and besides teaching me the intricacies of his work, I learned about him: the pride and integrity in his work, the love for his family, etc. He was a great mentor. Although we had only stayed in touch through annual Christmas cards, I'll miss not hearing from him in December.
