Dear Dad,
I never met you or got to know you. I really wish I had. I found you and your sister and my brother and sisters but you were gone. I've heard a lot of stories both good and bad but it seems that you were loved by all. We would have gotten along well. I searched for you and my birth mother for over 30 years and within 24 hours found you both.. She's a bit less receptive than your side has been. Maybe you can reach down from heaven and let her know in some spiritual way that I want to get to know her. Rest in peace Dad.

Oh my God, Kate. My heart aches for you and for the loss of my dearest friend. I hope you know that I loved him with all of my heart and will be forever grateful for the time we spent in Ruidoso. I never for a moment imagined that it would be the last time. I love you, too. Please know that.

Kathy and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. I am sure there is a lot of great memories to remember him by. Peace be with you and Rich's family. Rest in peace Rich. Glad I was able to eat some of that great food you use to cook!
