My sympathy to Nancy and her entire Family on the passing of Bob. He was a Great Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend to all and will be truly missed.
I first met Bob at a Motel in the Chicago Area, as he would deliver furniture from Flexsteel on Monday & Tuesday and again on Thursday & Friday. We became good friends and he also met several other travelers that would meet at the same Motel. Roger Tompkin, George Gaus, Bob Benton, Bob Schneider, Bill Dayhlstrom and Phil Schembri, the Motel Manager. Many of these are gone, but we would have a wonderful time going to dinner and sometimes playing cards. Later Bob & Nancy became good Friends with Lucille and I and we would go back & forth between Baraboo, Wi. and Dubuque, Iowa. I really appreciated them coming when Lucille Passed as they are true friends. Nancy & Bob have met my new Companion, Carol and have enjoyed our time together, especially on the Boat Tours. My Prayers are with Nancy and her entire Family. Jack Meegan, Baraboo, Wi.

I know my father and mother thought of you as one of their best friends. I also remember going to dinner with you and dad (and the Chicago gang) several times. It was a great treat for me to meet with dad and his friends.

Joe and Bob's family - My sincere sympathy to you and family in the death of Bob. Bob & I started together in 1st grade at St. Matthews School in Shullsburg in 1939. Kinda lost tract when the Wells family moved to DBQ. The Burns and Wells family were good friends with most of the children alike age. Love & prayers.
