I have such fond memories of Shirley. I feel like I have known her my entire life. Shirley was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She had an awesome sense of humor. I have great memories of her and Dave with the honey business. I was always so impressed by that. Also have to say Shirley and Dave always made sure they had some squirrel for me when I came into town.
I remember her always coming over to the house and knowing when she came it would be a fun party. Shirley will be greatly missed.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Shirley's passing a few days ago. She was always upbeat and cheerful everytime we saw her, and we always tried to visit her and Dave when we were in town. We'll be keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I was so sad to hear of Shirley's passing. I have such fond memories of working with her at Dad's beauty supply. She was always so kind to me when I was a shy, nervous kid.
My daughter remembers Shirley coming with my mom to see her plays at high school. It was so sweet of her to drive down to the Quad Cities for that and my daughter really liked her.
Shirley will certainly be missed. I'm so sorry.

Shirley will be missed at our "Red Hat" luncheon group. She always had a smile for everyone. Even if the food or service wasn't up to par, Shirley would say, "It's ok." Hold on to your memories, and let them guide you during this time of sadness. Shirley and your family is my prayers.

So sorry to hear about Shirley's passing. She was a very sweet person and our family loved her. I have great memories of her working at our beauty supply store and all the card parties they came to at our house when I was growing up, good times! I know she will be missed. You and she will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Deborah.
