Stephen Dole

Stephen Dole, 54 of Dubuque passed away Friday, July 31st, 2015 at Home surrounded by his family. A celebration of life is going to be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 at Miller Riverview Park from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

Stephen was born in Dubuque on October 21st, 1960 the son of Ronald Dole and Darlene Harwick. He graduated from Scales Mound High School in Scales Mound, IL. Stephen served in the United States Marine Corps League from 1979 to 1982 during the Vietnam War.

Stephen loved to fish, play cards, and ride Harley’s. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends who he loved.

He is survived by his wife Wendy Dole, one son; Shane Dole, two daughters; Lacey and Shawna Dole. four step-sons; Paul Cole Jr., Ronald Cole, Andrew Cole Sr., and Arron (Jessica) Cole Sr. three brother; Rick Dole, Mick Dole, and Donald Harwick, six grandchildren; Carter, Hayden, Lexie, Andrew Jr., Skyler, and Arron Jr. Along with many nieces and nephews all residing in Dubuque.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother Darlene, his brother Butch Dole, and his grandparents.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dubuque for all their wonderful care they gave to Stephen.
