I would like to offer my condolences to Ruth and family. Jim was a fine man and a friend to many us. I missed seeing him the last few months at the usual place on Thursday nites. May he rest in peace.

I will miss Uncle Jim. He was always happy around me. I will always remember his 8mm home movies, I thought they were so cool. He was my scout leader and I loved the times we camped. I'm sad that I won't be able to come to DBQ for the funeral but so grateful I got to sing to him Wednesday night.

I had the honor and privilege of being Jim's guardian for the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. several years ago. I was very fortunate to get to spend a very special day with a wonderful man, who was very proud to have served his country. My prayers and sympathy to the entire family.
