My sincere condolences for your loss. I had Mr Avery as a teacher from '79-'81. I agree he could be gruff but he truly was a favorite of mine and I will always have fond memories of him. God bless

My deepest sympathy for you and your family Mr. Avery was my teacher in Cuba City even though sometimes he is a hard teacher he was a good one. Rest in peace Mr. Aver my thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Bruce was a great teacher, co-worker and friend. He is greatly missed but his legacy lives on through all the kids he taught!

Mr Avery was my 7 and 8th grade home room teacher as well as teaching us history and Government! Oye how I hated Government, but he somehow got it to stick in my head. I will never forget the silver Christmas tree! God Bless

I taught with Bruce 1976-1981, and it is with deepest sympathy I hear about his passing. He was a great mentor of teaching and a friend in that season of my life, and I am sorry for your loss.
