Hanna Amber Sun, 20 of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on June 28, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 3rd at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road with Charles Fizer officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery . Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2nd at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road.
Hanna was born on September 6, 1994 in China. She is the daughter of Erika M. Kratochwill and Sam H. Sun. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 2013 and was currently working for Hy-Vee on South Locust.
She was a precious gift from God. Her family will be forever grateful for the joy she brought to everyone.
She is survived by her mother Erika Sun, of Dubuque, her father Sam (Suzie) Sun, of Potosi, WI, three siblings, Solomon (Sarah) Sun, of Arizona, Joshua (fiancé, Samantha Klemme) Sun of Davenport, and Jenna Sun, of Dubuque. Her niece and nephew Eden and Eli Sun.
In lieu of flowers a Hanna Sun memorial fund has been established.
