Juliana Marie Didesch, 91, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on October 14th, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21st, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Rev. Steven Rosonke officiating. Family and friends may gather after 9:00 a.m. at the church until time of mass. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road is assisting the family.
Juliana was born on May 23, 1926 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Nicholas and Marie (Bushman) Kramer. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School. She married Robert Didesch on August 8, 1949 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He preceded her in death.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; she enjoyed playing bridge and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Robert A. (Debra Rose) Didesch, of Asbury, and their son Adam (Ashley) Didesch and their son William. Dan (Deb) Didesch, of East Dubuque, and their children, Eric (Stephanie) Didesch and their son Drake and daughter Declyn, Scott (Angie Koppes) Didesch, and their daughters, Courtney and Kiley, and Brian (Lara Temperly) Didesch. Mollysue (Dennis) Beidler, of Dubuque and their children, Nicole (Rod) McDowell and their daughter Elizabeth, Kaitlyn (Dan) Beidler-Ernzen, and their daughters Charley and Chanley, Brianna (Kyle Merkes) Beidler. Sister-in-law Betty Kramer, of Merced, CA; special nieces and nephew, Karilyn (Jim) Steffen, Marilyn (Gary) Hillard and Tom (Bonnie) Osterhoff all of Dubuque.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert; her son Joseph; grandson Jody; sister Rita Osterhoff and brother Ken Kramer.
In lieu of flowers a Juliana Marie Didesch memorial fund will be established.
The family wishes to thank Sunset Park Place and her nurse Kathy, the Finley Wound Clinic and to all the health care professionals for their wonderful care and kindness they gave.
