Madonna F. Danzer, 73, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 26th, 2015 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Family and friends may gather at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road on Monday, March 30th, 2015 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Donna’s name to the Wendt Cancer Center at Finley Hospital.
Donna was born on February 10th, 1942, to Joseph and Alma Ferring in her hometown of Lansing, Iowa. Donna married Gary Danzer of Dubuque, Iowa on May 6th, 1967 at St. Patrick’s Church in Dubuque. Although she was a lousy golfer, she was a diehard Elvis Presley fan.
Donna is survived by her husband, Gary, her children, Brian and Lisa, and her granddaughter, Chloe. She is also survived by four siblings – Ron, Bill, Mary, and Rita.
Donna was the most perfect wife, mother, and grandmother anyone could ask for and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to thank Dr. Mark Hermann and his staff, the staff of the Wendt Cancer Center and Unity Point Heath, Finley Hospital for all their care and kindness.
