Sharon Ann Marshall, 69, of Dubuque, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at home surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday , February 13 at Saint Joseph Key West Church with Father Michael Podhajsky officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 12th at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, Dubuque where there will be a wake service at 3:00 p.m.
Sharon was born on December 24, 1945 in Dubuque, the daughter of LeRoy and Mary Catherine (Hennis) Wolfe. She married John Marshall on February 19, 1966, in Dubuque.
She spent much time enjoying her children and grandchildren, snowmobiling, gardening, and tending her flowers and lawn.
Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, John, and 4 children Ann (Ted) Ruske of Robins, IA, Joseph (Shannon) and Steven (Jessica) of Denver, CO and Jenny (Steve) Aune of Verona, WI; 6 grandchildren, Andrew, Sydney, Ben, Ian, Hannah and Levi. Her Siblings; Aileen Murphy, Virginia (Bob) Lewis, Mike Wolfe, Kathleen Kelley, Mary (Steve) Fitzgerald, John (Sue) Wolfe, Janet (Tim) Fitzgerald, Bill Wolfe and Tom Wolfe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jim.
The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dubuque and her sister Virginia for their wonderful care and kindness.
